WhatsApp Business: The new way to reach ID Medical

Dec 18, 2020.

We’re excited to announce that nurses and AHP/HSS can now message us on WhatsApp. With over 1 billion users active each and every single day, we now have a more efficient, convenient way for our candidates to get in touch – taking the stress away from booking their next shift.

What is it and why is it beneficial?

If you’re unfamiliar with this platform (very unlikely), WhatsApp is a mobile application that allows you to send messages for free, to anyone you want, across the entire world.

However, in 2020 it’s not just a platform for sending messages, WhatsApp is known for its’ group chats, voice messages, location updates, videos, documents and GIFs – making it the perfect platform to keep in touch with our candidates and clients.

At ID Medical our mission is to: revolutionise recruitment, giving our candidates the best experience within the industry.

Why did ID Medical join WhatsApp?

In today’s world, catching up with friends and family over the internet is the new norm. Online chats have seamlessly integrated into our lifestyle so, why shouldn’t it be the same when it comes to medical recruitment?

As the UK’s largest multi-disciplinary medical recruitment agency, we’re always looking to improve our customers’ experience. We joined WhatsApp for three major reasons: improved customer care, improved convenience for our candidates and increased rapid response times.

What’s the benefit for candidates using WhatsApp to contact ID Medical?

Improved Customer Care

Excellent customer service is at the heart of our business as we want our healthcare heroes to always feel content, valued and respected whilst working with ID Medical.

Naturally, healthcare professionals lead extremely busy and demanding lifestyles, which is why our WhatsApp Business chat removes those frustrating long phone queues and email chains.

Candidates can now receive shift invitations, shift confirmations, reminders and pay updates all from the comfort of a simple WhatsApp message.

When you opt for a career in healthcare, you opt for a work-life that contains plenty of long shifts and unsociable hours.

During a Covid 19 climate, as soon as a healthcare professionals’ shift ends we want them to switch off, relax and recuperate so they can recharge. As life can be complication, we want to help keep things simple. So, when it comes to getting in touch with us tofind out when their next shift is… it’s quick and easy, without the need to phone and speak to one of the team.
