The ‘Great Outdoors’ Nature Photo Contest 2015 – Explore nature, discover blooming opportunities and win fantastic prizes this summer!
We understand the rising work pressures in the NHS and the importance of being ‘mindful’. With the long-awaited arrival of summer, we can find endless opportunities to become more mindful and focussed in and out of the workplace.
So with that, ID Medical, the UK’s leading medical recruiter, has launched a photography competition on Twitter, inviting every one of its social followers and doctor, nurse, and allied health professional candidates to tweet their most beautiful scenic summery photos to be in with a chance of winning one of three fantastic prizes to experience the great outdoors:
1st place: A 16MP digital camera
2nd place: A £50 B&Q gift voucher
3rd place: A BBQ utensil set
The healing effects of a natural view are increasingly being understood in stressful environments such as hospitals, nursing homes, and similar places of work1.
In these environments particularly, as well as for people who work in windowless offices, studies show that seeing nature is important to people2 and is an effective means of relieving stress and improving well-being3.
Sometimes a simple activity is all that’s needed to gain inspiration for a day’s work. It helps to clear your mind so you can truly identify what you want, whether that’s in your career or your personal life.
Our ‘Great Outdoors’ Nature photo contest reflects the blossoming job opportunities available at ID Medical for every healthcare professional. Whether a qualified medical professional, undertaking locum work or thinking about branching out into a new career path, ID Medical is seen as a breath of fresh air, focused on specific requirements and seeing them through to fruition. From ideal NHS job opportunities, to CPD and Revalidation support, ID Medical can help you map out a budding career.
To enter into the draw, simply tweet your photo to @IDMedical along with the hashtag #GreatOutdoors before the 18th September.
